2001-2001 (Senior): Won his first state championship by defeating Sparrows Point defending state champion Mike Weber at 125 lbs... won the Regional Title and the Howard County Tournament title... was 1st at the Lackey Christmas Tournament... 3rd at the Western Branch Rotational and 4th at the Hammond Invitational... received the Coach's award from the coaching staff and was inducted into Hammond Wrestling's Hall of Fame. 2001-2000 (Junior): Qualified for his first state tournament by placing 2nd in the south region tournament... was third at the Howard County Tournament... placed 3rd at the Lackey Christmas Tournament. 1998-1999 (Sophomore): Earned the starting position at 119 lbs... broke his shoulder in a match vs. River Hill's Brandon Lauer and was out for the remainder of the season. 1997-1998 (Freshman): Placed third at the Howard County JV Tournament. BEFORE HIGH SCHOOL: No wrestling experience prior to High School.
