2006-2007 (Senior): Named a captain of the 2006-2007 Hammond Wrestling team... undefeated at Bowie Duals... went 8-1 at Battlefield Duals losing only to Upper Perkiomen's Ryan Kemmerer, 10-6... won his 2nd Howard County title and his first Regional title with victories over Atholton's Ross Lewin... became one of only a few Hammond Wrestlers to place in the state 3 times with a 5th place finish at states... 1st team All-County... finished as Hammond's 4th most winningest wrestler... 1st team All-Academic for the State of Maryland. 2005-2006 (Junior): Started at 125 lbs... lead the team in pins along with Eric Yee with 18... took 135 lbs. State Runner-up Mike Vakas into overtime in the beginning of the season before dropping to 125 lbs... won the Damascus Tournament with a win over Glenelg's Chris Stinnett... placed 3rd at MMM3 defeating Pennsylvania State Placewinner Luke Chohony of Susquenita... won his first Howard County title... placed 2nd in the Region... placed 6th at the State Tournament... first team All-County... finished the season in the top 10 of All-time wins at Hammond with one more season still remaining. 2004-2005 (Sophomore): Started at 125 lbs... was runner-up at the Bowie Invitational... placed 5th at the Catholic Invitational... was a County and Region Runner-up qualifying for his 2nd State Tournament... placed 4th in the State... defeated Atholton's Jeff Zillmer 4 times during the course of the year after losing to Zillmer twice his Freshman year... 2nd team All-County... finished the year with a 34-11 record. 2003-2004 (Freshman): Started at 112 lbs... placed 6th at the Catholic Invitational... took 5th at the Springbrook 'Grapple at the Brook'... took 4th at the Howard County Championships... made the Region Finals and placed 2nd to Atholton's Jeff Zillmer and qualified for his first State Tournament. BEFORE HIGH SCHOOL: Wrestled for Howard County Vipers Junior League... took 4th at the MD/VA Junior League State Championships. PERSONAL: 4 year Starter on Hammond's Varsity Soccer Team. One younger brother, Josh also wrestles for Hammond.
